Steps to the Vision

“As a woman I have no country;
As a woman my country is the whole world”
-- Virginia Woolf

We will accomplish Our Vision by:

  • Engaging in collaborations with organizations focusing on the various elements of our vision

  • Conducting leadership training within appropriate cultural contexts of host countries that prepares current and future leaders for the changing global climate, and that hones existing leadership gifts of current and aspiring leaders

  • Providing venue for co-mentoring relationships between professional women of different cultures in which expertise and ‘best practices’ can be shared to enhance leadership skills and promote mutual learning

  • Directing mentoring programs for young girls and women in cross-cultural settings that provide inspiration, experience and mutual understanding between women of different cultures·

  • Offering venues for the telling and witnessing of cultural stories, unique to both countries and individual teller; thereby creating a vehicle through which the stories are honored and incorporated into the larger body of literature and history available in cultural context·

  • Supporting the enhancement of skill-building and interest in math, science, information systems and technology to meet the immense opportunities and challenges of the new century·

  • Researching the unique ways that women lead and the impact of their special gifts on present and future generational leadership

  • Recognizing and acknowledging women and girls as leaders in their communities, nations, and in the global arena

  • Honoring continued conversation between men and women in all cultures toward the creation of creative dialogue to forward the vision of respect and peace in the global village
